Uncle Steve's 50th Birthday
Sunday we celebrated Uncle Steve's 50th Birthday with a surprise party. We went to their new house they have purchased, and set up the backyard in the afternoon. They don't take possession until August, but are friends of the current owners, and were allowed to enjoy the yard before moving in. They have already taken over the garden.
We hung close to 200ft of Christmas lights zig-zagged across the yard from the trees.
As well as a few in the bushes and along the fence.
Balloons were placed around the yard.
And Uncle Steve's birthday present was assembled.
And tested!
We also hung paper poof flower things.
And pizza arrived just in time for our hungry stomachs.
Uncle Steve and his girls enjoyed the swing.
Danielle is talking with Uncle Steve and 2 leaf fans, one being cousin Paul Penner, who came with his parents, Uncle Paul, and Aunt Marie Penner from Ontario.
And here the local Leaf fan is sitting in my Canuck chair.

My Dad saved him enough on his new tires that he could afford to come.

More Ellie! Someone forgot to clean their plate after Chocolate fondue, so Ellie volunteered to help.
Ellie made sure to help finish the drinks too.

Wow! What a fun party. Love the strung lights and puff balls. We hung the same type of puff balls for Rosanna's wedding. It looked so beautiful. Wish we could have been there to celebrate with all of you. And...Ellie is priceless. Great pics.
