Display Fixtures Event of the Week
It seems excitement is a regular occurrence at work right now. Last week we started with a bad event. Somebody broke into our yard overnight and stole over twenty coils from our cases. This basically makes these cases useless to us. It costs us about $500 US to buy a case, or about $750 to buy a new coil, so not really worth it. Then my previous blog shows the garbage pick up driver trying to eliminate the ability to communicate, thankfully unsuccessfully. This week, yes it's only Monday, we started with more excitement.

One of my managers told another to look out his window. What do we see, but a semi with his back tires caught in a snow drift. He was stuck pretty good, because it took him ten to fifteen minutes to get his car out. At first I was worried about how close he was to my car, but it was safe. However he was about four feet over the curb, all the tire tracks well off the path. It might have been a closer bet for him to take out the fire hydrant.
And if that wasn't exciting enough, guess what happened half an hour later. Make sure you read the signs on the trucks.
